Privacy Policy

Lull is built around a simple idea: this is an app for unwinding, and unwinding shouldn't come with surveillance. We've designed Lull to collect as close to nothing as we possibly can.
What we collect
Nothing on our servers. Lull does not have a backend, an analytics provider, or any kind of telemetry that phones home. Everything you do in the app — the mixes you save, the volumes you set, your bedtime time — stays on your device.
What stays on your device
- Your saved mixes (sounds and volumes)
- Your sleep timer, fade-out, and bedtime preferences
- Whether you've completed the first-run onboarding
This data is stored locally using standard iOS and Android settings storage. It is removed when you delete the app.
Permissions Lull asks for
Notifications. If you enable the bedtime reminder, Lull asks for permission to send a local notification at the time you choose. The notification is scheduled entirely on your device — no push server is involved.
Background audio. Lull plays audio while the app is in the background or your screen is locked. No location, microphone, camera, contacts, or other system permissions are requested.
Third parties
Lull does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising networks, attribution SDKs, or crash reporters that transmit data. The app does not contact any remote server during normal use.
Apple and Google receive standard purchase and platform data when you buy or download Lull through the App Store or Google Play. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Children
Lull is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how Lull handles data, we will update this page and adjust the "Last updated" date above. For any material change, we will also mention it in the app's release notes.
